College and university gardens, along with those affiliated with large organizations, are well positioned to develop productive partnerships across campus and throughout the community. More importantly, these partnerships, as well as the innovative programs they generate, provide gardens with a unique opportunity to assert, and maintain, their relevance to a broader campus and community. Borrowing from the success and missteps of several gardens, this interactive workshop examines the best practices employed in developing productive partnerships, and further explores the unique and innovative programs that often come about as a result.
