Come out to the Preston B. Bird/ Mary Heinlein, Fruit & Spice Park to see tropical fruit growing at the height of the season and to take part in tropical fruit tastings. This unique 37-acre subtropical botanical garden is located in far South Miami-Dade County. The Park hosts over 500 varieties of fruits, vegetables, spices, herbs, and nuts, and other commercially important plants from around the world. Collections include over 150 mango varieties, bananas, 70+ bamboo varieties and other exotic edibles. This one-of-a-kind park is the only tropical botanical garden of its kind in the United States, and the fruit season will be at its height. Don’t miss it!
